Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily dispatch operations.
- Assign delivery routes and tasks to drivers or field staff.
- Monitor vehicle/shipment movement and update status in the system.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers regarding dispatch details.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, route changes, or customer queries.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches, delivery notes, and logs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and transport regulations.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for loading/unloading and inventory readiness.
- Use dispatch or logistics management software to track operations.
- Provide daily/weekly dispatch reports to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory) in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and dispatch/logistics software.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of local geography and routes (if applicable).
Work Environment
- Office or warehouse-based role.
- May require working in shifts or extended hours during peak operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,756.43 - ₹30,000.00 per month
