About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Dispatcher to join our growing logistics/transport team. You will play a critical role in coordinating daily operations to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and can manage multiple tasks while solving problems on the go.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers/vehicles for pickups, deliveries, and shipments.
• Plan optimal routes, assign loads, and monitor real-time vehicle locations using GPS or tracking systems.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, warehouse teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Track shipments, update ETAs, and promptly report any delays, issues, or incidents.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high service standards.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, logs, fuel, maintenance, and delivery documentation.
• Work closely with the logistics and operations team for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Multitask efficiently during peak hours and handle emergencies calmly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Dispatcher in logistics, trucking, courier, or transport operations (preferred in truck/freight dispatching).
• Strong knowledge of route planning, load management, and transportation logistics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), email, and basic computer skills. Experience with dispatch software, GPS tracking, or load boards is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make quick decisions.
• Flexible with shifts (may include evenings, nights, or weekends depending on operations).
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Valid local driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
• Candidates with experience in international/U.S. trucking or remote dispatching for overseas clients are encouraged to apply.
