Dispatch & Fleet Manager

Niche Logistics is a rapidly growing company that provides delivery and warehousing services to to the beverage industry, delivering their products to restaurants and retailers across the Carolinas. We are currently seeking a Dispatch & Fleet manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with drivers on the road and communicating with customers, managing preventative maintenance of vehicles, rentals, repairs and supporting any issues that occur while on the road. receiving.

Duties:
- Develop robust fleet management system to oversee maintenance and preventative maintenance programs
- Utilize route planning software to track and monitor driver progress throughout the day
- Communicate with customers on delays or issues that occur on the road
- Serve as a backup driver if and when needed
- Operate forklift for material handling if and when needed

Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory control practices and procedures
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain management
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently

Pay starts at $18/hour, and as high as $20/hour for highly qualified candidates with a related work history.
