THE ROLE: DEPARTMENTAL LEADERSHIP

You will oversee the daily heartbeat of our transportation and warehousing operations. This role is designed for a strategist who can manage high-volume "mission control" dispatching while coaching a team to hit peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Optimization: Oversee and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure 100% ontime performance across the fleet.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and provide performance management for dispatch staff and drivers.
• Workflow Architecture: Manage scheduling, routing, and workflow optimization to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
• Accountability & Culture: Enforce high service standards while fostering a professional, customerfocused environment.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to scale operations and meet evolving transportation needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 35 years in Dispatch Management, Logistics, or Transportation Operations.
• Leadership: Minimum of 2 years in a direct supervisory or management role.
• Local Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Richmond, VA area and local traffic patterns.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a highvolume, techdriven dispatch setting.
• Compliance: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check/drug screening.
