About the Role

Our client is hiring a Dispatch Service Manager to oversee scheduling, dispatch coordination, and real-time communication between customers and technicians. You’ll manage a small team, optimize technician routing, and help ensure smooth, timely service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the dispatch team and ensure efficient daily scheduling.
  • Assign service calls based on technician availability, skills, and location.
  • Monitor real-time job progress and customer updates.
  • Maintain dispatch dashboards and track KPIs (response times, utilization, etc.).
  • Communicate clearly with both technicians and customers.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and minimize downtime.
  • Support process improvements to increase team productivity.
  • Train and mentor dispatch coordinators on systems and service protocols.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in service dispatch, scheduling, or customer coordination (plumbing/HVAC preferred).
  • Previous team lead or supervisory experience a plus.
  • Familiar with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro).
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Calm and effective under pressure with a customer-first mindset.
