Dispatch Support Representative

Job Title: Dispatch Support Representative

Pay: $21 – $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5 AM – 2 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Dispatch Support Representative to support our courier drivers and help ensure every delivery arrives on time. What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our operations team, you’ll provide real-time support to drivers on the road and ensure smooth, efficient delivery service.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide logistical and operational support to courier contractors via email, phone, and push-to-talk apps.

Communicate special delivery instructions and routing guidance to drivers.

Answer questions from drivers and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Ensure exceptional service for both internal teams and external clients.

Assist with dispatching jobs and verifying completed deliveries.

Complete daily checklists and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Report driver and customer concerns to the Operations Manager.

Support warehouse operations when needed, including pulling and processing parts.

Additional Duties:

Assist with special projects and process improvements.

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting.

Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Occasionally make local deliveries to ensure on-time customer service.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

High school diploma required.

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (dispatch or logistics experience preferred).

Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment is highly desirable.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional and courteous demeanor with drivers, customers, and team members.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and dispatch systems.

Willingness to occasionally assist with local deliveries.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to work at a computer for extended periods (8+ hours with standard breaks).

Frequent typing, phone use, and document handling.

Ability to lift and handle packages up to 60 lbs occasionally.

Comfortable climbing ladders when necessary.

Work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment.

Occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods.
