Dispatch/Driver Manager

We're looking for a people-first operator to own the performance, productivity, and retention of a fleet of 15–25 drivers. This is a relationship role as much as an operational one. You'll be the main point of contact for your drivers, the person keeping loads on schedule, and the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you're calm under pressure, communicative by nature, and take pride in running a tight fleet, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for 15–40 OTR drivers — handling check-ins, resolving issues, and building the kind of trust that keeps people around
• Coordinate with planners to ensure loads are executed on time and drivers are set up to succeed
• Monitor HOS compliance, DOT requirements, and company policy across your fleet
• Track driver productivity and utilization to minimize dwell time and keep equipment moving
• Coach drivers on performance expectations and have direct conversations when standards aren't being met
• Since freight is moving 24/7, this role includes occasional evenings and weekend coverage and team communication

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years in trucking operations — dispatch, driver management, or a similar role
• Experience working directly with drivers in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator who's responsive, organized, and hard to rattle
• Comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
• Self-directed and proactive

Compensation & Schedules

Pay: $65,000+ depending on experience. Full-time, with occasional evening and weekend on-call.

Schedule has a few options depending on availability:

a) Monday - Friday 7am-4pm with occasional weekends and evenings on call. b) Tuesday - Saturday 7am-4pm with occasional weekends and on call.

There is an option to work a later schedule from 9am - 6pm that we can discuss as well.
