Dispatcher

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Dispatcher to be the central point of contact for our national accounts. This role requires someone who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and manage multiple moving parts to ensure quick and effective service delivery.

1 Year Contract

Pay Range: $23 - $24/hr

2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:30pm - 1:00am (with weekend OT)

Duties

• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers reporting water heater issues, gathering the necessary details to determine service needs.
• Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to affected sites, balancing urgency and availability.
• Keep open lines of communication between customers, service providers, and internal teams to drive timely solutions.
• Monitor service progress, provide regular updates, and step in to troubleshoot when obstacles arise.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic approach in all interactions, creating positive experiences even in high-stress situations.
• Take ownership of customer concerns by investigating issues, resolving them promptly, and working to prevent similar problems in the future.
• Accurately document calls, updates, and resolutions within company systems.
• Utilize computer systems and software effectively to manage dispatch and reporting functions.

Qualifications:

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain composed and patient.
• Skilled in using computer applications for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly to changing demands.
• Problem-solver with a customer-first mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
