Position Overview

The Dispatcher plays a key role in daily operations by coordinating schedules, assigning jobs to field technicians, and ensuring timely communication between clients and the FixNet team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, installations, and maintenance jobs
  • Communicate job details clearly to field technicians and follow up on job progress
  • Prioritize and manage multiple service requests efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of technician routes, time, and job completion
  • Provide excellent customer service by updating clients on scheduling, delays, or changes
  • Collaborate with the management team to optimize routing and reduce downtime
  • Enter service details and updates into the company’s management software
  • Handle emergency calls and reschedule jobs as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • 1+ year of dispatch, scheduling, or administrative experience (low-voltage or field service industry a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (experience with FSM or CRM systems a plus)
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Occasional weekends or after-hours availability may be required during peak times
