Dispatcher

Key Responsibilities

· Order Fulfillment: Overseeing the end-to-end process of picking, packing, and dispatching orders within the given timeframes (TAT - Turnaround Time).

· Logistics Coordination: Arranging transportation and coordinating with various courier partners (e.g., Blue Dart, DTDC) to ensure timely shipments.

· Inventory Management: Checking stock levels, anticipating delivery requirements, and maintaining accurate inventory records across all sales platforms.

· Documentation and Data Entry: Preparing necessary shipping documents, generating manifests and dispatch labels, and maintaining logs of all calls and activities in a computer system.

· Problem Resolution: Addressing problems, such as shipping delays, damaged inventory claims, or RTOs (Return to Origin), by working with supervisors, carriers, and customer service teams.

· Communication: Acting as a point of contact for field units (drivers/delivery personnel) and keeping customers informed about order status, shipment dates, and methods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Experience: Prior experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or a similar dispatch role is often a must.

· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub), order management systems, and inventory management software.

· Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of orders and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

· Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and customers.

· Problem-Solving: Sound judgment and critical thinking skills to quickly resolve issues and prioritize tasks.
