We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Dispatcher to manage daily dispatch operations from our Central Kitchen. The role focuses on coordinating the accurate and timely dispatch of bakery products for catering orders, B2B clients, and company outlets, while ensuring correct documentation, billing alignment, and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily dispatch of bakery items from the central kitchen to:
- Catering events
- B2B / wholesale clients
- Company-owned outlets
- Ensure all dispatched items match approved production orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Verify quantities, product specifications, packaging, and labeling before dispatch.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Prepare and check delivery documents, invoices, and billing-related paperwork.
- Track dispatch schedules and follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time completion.
- Handle last-minute changes or urgent dispatch requests efficiently.
- Maintain dispatch records, logs, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and handling standards during dispatch.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately to management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator, or similar role in a bakery, food production, catering, or FMCG environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and billing.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, dispatch systems, or ERP is an advantage).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is an advantage.
- Flexible to work early mornings, shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
