Pflipsen Companies is a family-owned and operated business with a long-standing reputation for quality service and well-maintained equipment. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Dispatcher to join our Trucking Division. This role will support both local and over-the-road (OTR) drivers, helping keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate local and OTR trucks to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Communicate daily with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and load details
• Plan and adjust routes based on weather, road conditions, and customer needs
• Track truck locations, delivery status, and hours of service
• Work closely with customers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation
• Support compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
• Assist with scheduling maintenance and equipment availability as needed

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch experience in trucking or transportation preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and make quick, sound decisions
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules is a plus
• Proficient with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and basic computer applications
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
