Dispatcher

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our family owned and operated Towing Company. In this role, you will coordinate drivers, manage scheduling calls, and ensure seamless communication between drivers and customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analysis skills and technical expertise will drive operational success.

Duties

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers using Towing management systems such as Towbooks.
• Utilize GPS and tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers via multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Enter data accurately into spreadsheets in programs such as Numbers or Excel.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching within a towing or transportation environment.
• Strong knowledge of Towing management systems such as Towbooks.
• Familiarity with GPS technology and transportation planning software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple calls efficiently using multi-line phone systems.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for route optimization, vehicle tracking, and problem resolution.
• Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy in systems like Numbers or excel.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
• MUST HAVE CLEAN CRIMINAL HISTORY. We are contracted with the government so you must pass a background check to be employed with us.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Hours will vary.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
