Job Summary
Schedule and dispatch inspectors to appropriate locations according to customer specifications or needs. Ensure employee dispatched is suitable for job in question. Update and coordinate with Operations personnel regarding
coverage of actual and anticipated jobs.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for dispatching of field personnel, ensuring accuracy of job instructions, matching qualified personnel with requirements of job and overall handling of assignments

Prepare daily work schedules and emergency coverage scenarios

Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from field inspectors, laboratory staff, supervisors and customers

When instructed by Operations personnel, confer with customers in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service

Responsible for the collection and distribution of field paperwork to Operations staff to allow them to prepare updates and reports for customers

Other similar duties related to field inspection work and operations coordination as assigned by supervisor
Skills/Qualifications
Required Skills
-
1+ year experience in the petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical industry including actual hands on experience of inspection and/or laboratory work

Bachelor or Associate degree preferred

Good communication, organization, and inter-personal skills a must. Ability to work under pressure and react quickly
Working Conditions
Office Environment - possible shifts up to 12 hours - nights and weekends as required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
