Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. This person will play a key role in supporting various delivery routes. This individual will be working closely with drivers to help plan their loads for the next day. This individual will need to be a self-starter, that can work independently. We have two shifts available, weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the next day operations
• Receiving and processing orders in a timely manner via phone or email
• Monitoring drivers progress throughout their shift
• Confirming driver route are efficient and making needed adjustments
• Reacting quickly to issues at customer sites and ensuring a safe and effective resolution
• Monitor electronic gauges daily at customer sites
• Preparing daily routes
• Helping other dispatchers out when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Two years of dispatching experience
• Two years of customer service experience
• On call rotation including weekends and holidays
• Nighttime Shift – 4pm to 12am Monday thru Friday
• Two years of Word and Excel experience
• CDL A or B preferred but not required
