SAVANNAH DRIVER MANAGER/DISPATCHER STARTING SALARY UP TO $60,000 PER YEAR BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Howard Sheppard, LLC, is looking for an experienced Driver Manager working out of their Savannah GA location.

This is a Salaried Position starting at $55,000 to $60,000 per year based on experience.

We seek a Career Orientated individual who can demonstrate a history of effective management and interaction with drivers, other driver managers and CSR personnel.

Successful candidates must be able to:

Demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate initiative to make better decisions
Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written
Demonstrate the ability to understand and effectively interact with drivers
Strong computer skills using AS 400, Outlook and other software programs including Excel
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulations preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations

Responsibilities Include:

Plan assigned drivers and equipment to shipments.
Provide support to drivers to carry out dispatch assignments
Monitor driver compliance with on-time pickups, deliveries, HOS, & safety
Maintain data in dispatch software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
