Dispatcher

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team!

At Aqua Gulf, Dispatchers coordinate the scheduling and manage the routing of drivers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and be able to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules and dispatches drivers, monitors vehicle locations, and addresses any potential situations, delays, and/or other issues.
• Maintains communication with internal customers, such as Operations, Business Partner Managers, Drivers, Customer Service Team, Warehousing, and other related departments.
• Monitors and ensures on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal, influence, verbal, and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry and DOT regulations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced technical/computer skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong work ethic with a professional and cheerful outlook
• Team player

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Logistics Management or Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred
• Prior experience as a dispatcher or load planner is preferred but not required
