American Rooter is seeking a highly organized and professional Dispatcher to join our Freeland, PA office. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication and scheduling hub between our customers, field crews, management team, and national service partners. You will be responsible for coordinating technicians across multiple Pennsylvania markets, managing same day and next day scheduling, monitoring field operations throughout the day, and ensuring customers receive timely and professional service from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and dispatch technicians across multiple Pennsylvania markets throughout the day.

Manage same day and next day scheduling for plumbing, sewer, water, and excavation service calls.

Monitor technician progress, routes, job statuses, and schedule efficiency in real time.

Communicate with homeowners, field technicians, managers, and service partners regarding scheduling updates, delays, emergencies, and job progress.

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to scheduling, emergency service requests, claim coordination, and customer updates.

Assist with emergency dispatching and priority scheduling adjustments as operational needs change throughout the day.

Accurately document all customer interactions, scheduling changes, dispatch notes, and job updates within company software systems.

Coordinate closely with field operations managers and office staff to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Review completed jobs to ensure proper documentation, notes, photos, and claim details have been entered correctly.

Support administrative tasks including reporting, communication tracking, and schedule management.

Qualifications Required:

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations and high call volume periods.

Strong computer and data entry skills.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred:

Dispatching experience in plumbing, HVAC, utilities, excavation, or other home service industries.

Experience coordinating field technicians and managing schedules.

ServiceTitan experience is a plus, but not required.

Experience working in a service-based or operations-focused environment.

Benefits

Starting Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Health & Dental Insurance: 75% employer-paid (employee-only) after 90 days

Paid Holidays: Effective from Day 1

Paid Time Off: 1 week after 90 days; 2 weeks after 1 year

Work Schedule

Full-Time: Monday through Friday

Standard office hours with flexibility based on operational and scheduling needs.

Work Location

On-site at American Rooter’s Freeland, PA office.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
