The Opportunity

1-Tom Plumber Buffalo is a new, premium plumbing company launching in Western New York. We're looking for a high-urgency, highly organized Dispatcher to be the air traffic controller of our operation.

This role is mission-critical. A great dispatcher doesn't just answer phones — they control the schedule, maximize truck productivity, reduce chaos, and directly impact revenue.

This is not a slow front-desk job. This is not a passive call-answering role. If you like running the board and keeping things tight, keep reading.

How You Get Paid

• $22–$24/hour base depending on experience ($45,760–$49,920 annually)
• $150/month performance kicker when your booking rate hits 80%+
• Realistic OTE at $23/hr base: $51,000–$53,000 annually
• Your bonus is tied to the one metric you control: booking rate

What You'll Be Doing

• Answer every inbound call professionally and with urgency — no call goes to voicemail during operating hours
• Book 80%+ of inbound calls; if you can't book it, understand why and flag it
• Dispatch service plumbers and manage the schedule in real time
• Communicate clearly with techs in the field and customers waiting at home
• Manage delays, reroutes, and emergency calls without losing your composure
• Maintain accurate job notes in ServiceTitan throughout the day
• Support light admin, customer follow-ups, and office operations

Requirements

• Prior dispatching, scheduling, or office operations experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment
• Able to prioritize and make decisions under pressure
• High sense of urgency and ownership
• ServiceTitan or field service software experience is a plus, not required
