Dispatcher

Overview
Absolute Towing is looking for a reliable, level-headed Dispatcher to join our team. This role keeps our trucks moving after-hours, coordinates drivers, and provides calm customer service during high-stress situations. If you can multitask, stay organized, and communicate clearly, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer and roadside calls
• Dispatch light/medium trucks to calls efficiently
• Maintain accurate notes, timestamps, and updates in Towbook
• Communicate with drivers throughout the shift & track ETAs
• Verify payment methods, relay important info to drivers and supervisors
• Coordinate with motor clubs when needed.
• Ensure all calls are closed out properly and all documentation is accurate
• Maintain calm, professional communication even during high-volume periods

Requirements

• Prior dispatching or towing experience preferred but not required
• Must be dependable with strong attendance
• Ability to multitask, type quickly, and learn Towbook
• Strong communication skills (clear, calm, respectful)
• Comfortable working independently during night hours
• Must pass background check
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and problem-solve
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills (email, texting, GPS/locations, Towbook navigation)

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
