Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispatching of freight and shipments using e-courier dispatch software.
• Monitor GPS to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and clients via phone and email formats, while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Input accurate data into e-courier for job creations shipping & receiving documentation and freight tracking
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including coordinating pickups, deliveries, and verifying shipment details.
• Analyze logistics data to identify efficiencies in transportation planning.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, delivery statuses, and incident reports to ensure compliance and accountability.

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment.
• Strong familiarity with transportation management systems such as e-courier dispatch software or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of GPS technology and route optimization techniques.
• Experience working with freight carriers, 3PL providers, or in supply chain coordination.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle a fast paced environment professionally.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and typing accuracy.
