Dispatcher

We are hiring a Truck Dispatcher to manage daily freight operations, coordinate with drivers, communicate with brokers/shippers, and ensure efficient delivery schedules. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch trucks and assign loads to drivers based on route, availability, and load priority
• Track and monitor drivers' progress, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with brokers, shippers, and clients professionally and promptly
• Resolve issues related to delays, accidents, or other transportation disruptions
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for dispatch operations
• Provide drivers with necessary instructions, documentation, and updates
• Use load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) to find loads when needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of U.S. DOT regulations and freight procedures
• Proficiency in dispatch software and GPS tracking systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
