Position Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising delivery drivers; coordinating, monitoring, and scheduling local and regional deliveries to customer base. Advise Dispatch Supervisor on general delivery and pick up matters.
- Prepare and direct deliveries and pick-ups for parts, service, and all branches.
- Dispatch drivers for pick-ups and deliveries and inform sales associates of problems or changes.
- Maintain driver routing software screen.
- Maintain company vehicles.
- Manage delivery drivers by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
- Oversee 5S warehouse checklists and procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Comply with federal and state vehicle law, regulations, and all company safety rules.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a dispatcher.
