Role Description This is a full-time remote Dispatcher role responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily transportation activities. The Dispatcher will assign loads, schedule drivers, and update routes to ensure on-time pick-ups and deliveries. Daily tasks include communicating with drivers and customers, tracking shipments, and entering or updating information in dispatch and tracking systems. The role also involves resolving service issues, handling schedule changes, and escalating problems when necessary to maintain service standards. The Dispatcher will collaborate with operations, customer service, and management to optimize routes, manage capacity, and support safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and timely updates to drivers and clients.
• Experience with dispatching, transportation coordination, or logistics operations, including basic knowledge of routing and scheduling.
• Proficiency with computer systems and dispatch software, as well as solid data entry, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, including multitasking, prioritizing, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills to handle route changes, delays, and unexpected issues while maintaining service quality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in trucking, freight, courier, or related logistics roles is preferred but not required.
