Dispatcher - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage drivers both those on the road and in the office.

Duties

• Assist drivers with issues that may evolve including but not limited to load assignments, breakdowns, and driver paperwork.
• Utilize transportation management systems such as TMW, Omnitracs, Isaac Systems, Comdata.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear messaging
• Data entry
• Monitor GPS tools for real-time location tracking, route adjustments, and transportation analysis
• Resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems such as TMW.
• Strong understanding of GPS technology and fleet management software
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, freight documentation, and warehouse operations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally
