Service Dispatch Coordinator

Sunshine Equipment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Dispatch Coordinator to help manage daily service operations for our automotive lift, fluid systems, and air compressor service division.

This position plays a critical role in keeping our field technicians productive, organized, and properly dispatched throughout Florida. We are looking for someone who can think ahead, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

We are also currently transitioning our operations into the Odoo ERP platform, so candidates who are comfortable learning and adapting to new software systems will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming service calls
• Schedule and dispatch field technicians efficiently
• Prioritize emergency and non-emergency service requests
• Create and update work orders, customer notes, and scheduling records
• Assist with operational transition into Odoo
• Maintain accurate customer communication and service documentation
• Coordinate with technicians regarding job status, parts, and scheduling
• Help reduce return trips through proper job preparation
• Coordinate with warehouse and estimating departments for job readiness
• Assist with invoice flow and completed work order processing
• Support service department organization and operational efficiency

Preferred Experience

• Dispatching or scheduling experience in a service-based industry
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or field service management software
• Experience with Odoo, Service Fusion, or similar systems is a plus
• Automotive, equipment, construction, HVAC, mechanical, or industrial service background preferred
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized under pressure
• Strong computer and phone communication skills
• Experience coordinating multiple technicians and schedules

Pay Range

$24.00 – $32.00 per hour depending on experience
