We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate transportation activities, manage deliveries, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth dispatch operations, efficient communication with drivers and customers, and seamless handling of shipments. Duties

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams while ensuring clear and professional etiquette
• Create optimal delivery routes and assign driver/loader to specific jobs
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to delivery status, delivery schedules, or shipment issues with strong communication skills
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and delivery scheduling. Oversee the loading process of the trucks and verify orders before shipping.
• Ensure all deliveries are properly invoiced and customers are billed accordingly.
• Coordinate and over see the transfer of materials between company locations.

Experience

• Experience working with freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally
• Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating transportation data to enhance operational efficiency
• Experience in the roofing industry is a plus. Knowlege of materials is an extra bonus.
