Dispatcher and Router

Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused NEMT Router to join our transportation team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and routing transportation services for patients who require non-emergency medical appointments. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to optimize transportation routes while ensuring timely service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Route Planning & Coordination: Plan and schedule non-emergency medical transportation routes for patients, ensuring efficient and timely transportation to and from medical appointments each day.
• Communication: Serve as a point of contact between drivers, patients, and medical facilities, providing updates on transportation schedules and addressing any issues when needed.
• Optimizing Efficiency: Use routing software or manual systems to create efficient routes that minimize delays and travel time while considering patient needs.
• Monitor Transportation Progress: Track vehicles throughout the day to ensure on-time pickups and arrivals, resolving any logistical issues that arise during the transportation process.
