Dispatcher/Customer Service
Job Description

• Schedule and assign drivers and buses to coordinate the work board
• Organize the manifests for drivers; look for any special instructions and coordinate
• Review paperwork (DVIR, payroll, other) submitted by drivers and process accordingly
• Book farmouts with other bus companies as directed
• Answer calls from clients, group leaders, drivers and team members and handle appropriately.
• Work with maintenance with downed vehicles or if you need to down a vehicle due to some type of mechanical failure.
• Determine if staff members arrive promptly in uniform. Refer uniform infractions to management immediately.
• Brief drivers and field dispatchers (and baggage handlers when needed) on their schedules for the day. Perform PTPT
• Pass out sundry items and paperwork to drivers.
• Review all special instructions to make sure they are carried out.
• Track and ensure execution of transportation services as ordered. Oversee and manage transportation services remotely by managing the GPS, radio and cell phone communications with the drivers and Guest Services Representatives to ensure timely service while avoiding any disruptions or delays in service.
• Call Vendors (Farmouts) to ensure on time arrival and proper itinerary details
• Adjust equipment/drivers whenever there is a mechanical problem on the road.
• Adjust driver’s schedules to accommodate last minute farm-ins.
• Notify Sales and clients of any changes in schedules, plans or vehicle delay or breakdowns.
• Contact Reservations Department of problems with agents or clients. Example: No shows, pop ups, vouchers, etc.
• Be up to date with community events and road closures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned'
