Dispatcher for Building Materials store

Smith Phillips Building Supply is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our Winston-Salem team. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsible for dispatching operations for all outbound deliveries to included coordinating the organization and confirmation of materials to be delivered and the scheduling and assignment of delivery needs for sales orders. Ability to use Excel spread sheets to coordinate repairs and PM (preventive maintenance) service for all rolling stock and operations equipment. Evaluate, research, and make recommendations for contracting equipment repair and PM services. Ability to navigate our dispatch / delivery; GPS and all computer software applicable to schedule and complete the deliveries.

Basic math skills, an ability to read and understand instructions, punctuality, regular attendance, common sense, and a good attitude are necessary in this position.

Compensation is based upon qualifications and experience.
