Truck Dispatcher – Dry Van / Local & Regional (Florida)

We are a growing trucking company running dry vans under our own DOT, focused on Florida-only, short-haul, and dedicated freight. We are looking for a motivated, sharp dispatcher who knows how to keep trucks moving and drivers profitable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dispatch and manage Class A drivers running Florida lanes
Book and negotiate loads (brokers & direct shippers)
- Plan efficient routes to maximize weekly truck revenue
Communicate clearly with drivers, brokers, and customers
Track loads, appointments, detention, and accessorials
Solve problems fast (breakdowns, delays, last-minute changes)
What We’re Looking For
Dispatching experience preferred (Florida lanes a plus)
Strong load planning & rate negotiation skills
Knows DAT / Truckstop (or similar boards)
Calm under pressure, solution-oriented

Truck Dispatcher – Dry Van / Florida Only
Location: Florida (Remote or In-Office Optional)
Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturday check-ins)
Pay
- Base Pay: $800–$1,000 per week (based on experience)
- Performance Bonus: $100–$300+ per truck per week
- Expected Total Pay: $1,200–$2,000+ per week
- Annual Range: $62,000–$100,000+
(Bonus is tied to keeping trucks loaded, rate quality, and weekly revenue targets.)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dispatch and manage Class A drivers running Florida-only lanes
Book and negotiate loads with brokers and direct shippers
- Plan routes to push strong weekly revenue per truck
Handle driver communication, appointments, and issue resolution
Track detention, TONU, and accessorials
Work directly with ownership — fast decisions, no corporate red tape

Comfortable with DAT / Truckstop
Knows how to negotiate rates, not just accept them
