Position Overview:

We’re looking for a professional dispatcher who can manage loads, communicate clearly with drivers and brokers, and keep freight moving efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication (phone, email, and in-person), and can multitask without losing their cool.

This role requires prior experience with hotshot dispatching and load boards — no training wheels here!

Requirements:

Must be experienced and self-sufficient with load boards, including:

• Truckstop
• DAT Power

Strong understanding of 40FT hotshot equipment
Professional communication and organizational skills
Computer proficiency — email, TMS data entry, updating load boards, and tracking loads
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Duties Include:

• Coordinate and book freight through customers and brokers
• Schedule load appointments and update customers regularly
• Dispatch loads and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
• Track driver progress and resolve any routing or delay issues
• Keep load boards and internal systems up to date
• Maintain clear, consistent communication between customers, brokers, and drivers

Ideal Candidate:

• 1+ year of freight dispatching experience (hotshot preferred)
• Former hotshot driver or trucking experience is a big plus
• Negotiation or sales background (car sales experience welcome!)
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Thrives in a results-driven environment without losing the human touch

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
