Dispatcher / Inside Sales Representative

Job description

American Lock & Key is looking for a motivated, results-driven Dispatcher / Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is not your typical dispatch role we want someone who can answer calls, build trust quickly, and convert opportunities into booked jobs.

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them solve urgent lock and security issues while maximizing booking value. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy talking to people, and have a strong sales mindset, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers needing locksmith services
• Turn incoming inquiries into booked service calls and revenue
• Provide accurate pricing, timelines, and service recommendations
• Use sales techniques to overcome objections and close jobs on the spot
• Dispatch technicians efficiently while maximizing job flow and profitability
• Follow up on missed opportunities, quotes, and past customers
• Build rapport quickly and create urgency when customers need immediate service
• Keep detailed notes and manage customer interactions in our system
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth service delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Sales-minded you’re confident asking for the job and closing deals
• Strong communicator with excellent phone presence
• Able to handle multiple calls, texts, and tasks at once
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-call environment
• Problem solver who can think quickly under pressure
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Previous experience in dispatch, call center, or sales is a plus (not required)
