Schedule: 4–5 days per week (weekends required)

About the Role

We are hiring a Dispatcher / Lead Driver for immediate start.

This is a hands-on leadership role running a high-volume last-mile delivery operation. You will be responsible for dispatching routes, managing driver performance, and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, on time, and to standard.

If you’ve worked in a structured last-mile environment with strict performance metrics, this will feel familiar.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Dispatch and manage 20–30 routes daily
• Ensure all drivers are launched on time and routes are completed successfully
• Monitor and drive performance across key metrics (delivery success, on-time, quality, customer experience)
• Provide real-time support throughout the day (routing issues, delays, rescues)
• Cover routes and step in for call-outs or no-shows
• Perform rescues and get on-road when needed
• Conduct ride-alongs and hands-on driver training
• Lead daily stand-ups and enforce expectations
• Audit delivery quality (POD accuracy, scanning compliance, proper delivery execution)
• Interview, coach, and develop drivers
• Assist with fleet operations (maintenance scheduling, damage reporting, inspections, uptime)
• Communicate escalations and operational issues clearly

Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience in last-mile delivery operations (DSP, courier, or similar high-volume environment)
• Strong understanding of route dispatching, driver management, and daily execution
• Proven ability to manage teams and hold drivers accountable to performance standards
• Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment
• Ability to handle pressure, make quick decisions, and solve problems in real time
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Willing to be on-road when needed—this is not a desk-only role
