Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and organized Dispatch Office Assistant to join our appliance repair company. This position plays a key role in coordinating technician schedules, assisting customers, and supporting daily office operations to ensure efficient and timely service calls.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and schedule appliance repair appointments
  • Dispatch technicians to service calls based on location, availability, and priority
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding schedules, parts, and customer updates
  • Provide customers with appointment confirmations, arrival windows, and service updates
  • Maintain accurate customer records, invoices, and work orders
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and general office administration
  • Monitor daily schedules to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve scheduling issues professionally
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments and parts orders when needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or office administration preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Ability to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, or home service industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with dispatching field technicians
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Work Schedule

  • Full-time / Part-time positions available
  • Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday availability
