Dispatcher / Office Coordinator – Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (Part-Time)

Location: Lehigh Valley, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM (will vary sometimes but shifts will be 6 hours long for the most part)

About the Role

Ambucab is hiring a dependable Dispatcher/Office Coordinator to help manage daily transportation operations. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to stay on top of multiple moving parts.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Coordinating and scheduling daily transportation trips

- Dispatching drivers and adjusting routes in real-time

- Communicating with hospitals, clients, and drivers

- Ensuring trips are completed on time and without issues

- Handling incoming calls, scheduling changes, and problem-solving

- Tracking trips, maintaining records, and staying organized

- Following up on payments and assisting with basic collections

What We’re Looking For

- Strong multitasking and organizational skills

- Clear, professional communication (phone + text + email)

- Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly

- Reliable and punctual, this role is critical to daily operations

- Basic computer skills (scheduling systems, spreadsheets, email)

Preferred (not required):

- Dispatching or logistics experience

- Medical transportation or healthcare coordination experience

- Billing or collections experience

Pay

- $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

- Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends)
