Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication between drivers and the operations team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Provide reports: Create and provide reports to management
• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers, ensuring accuracy with communication
• Communicate effectively with drivers using phone systems to provide real-time updates
• Monitor fleet operations and manage day to day dispatch activities
• Input and maintain accurate data into system
• Respond promptly to any issues or delays that arise during transportation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the supply chain

Requirements:

Competencies and Requirements

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively relay information.

Proficiency in logistics management and supply chain processes.

Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Experience with Microsoft software is required.

Understanding Environmental Response route optimization is a plus.

Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
