Elite Rooter is a fast-growing, multi-market plumbing and rooter services company operating across nine regions in the United States. We are looking for a sharp, high-energy Service Dispatcher to join our operations team. This is not a passive support role — you are the nerve center of daily field operations, managing technician schedules, coordinating customer communication, and keeping every job moving.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Logistics & Schedule Management
- Manage and coordinate the daily dispatch board — scheduling, routing, and optimizing technician assignments across multiple service areas to maximize efficiency and minimize drive time
- Monitor job progress in real time, proactively adjust schedules when jobs run long, techs are delayed, or emergencies arise — keeping the board clean and the day on track
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts before they happen and solve them fast — rerouting, reassigning, and communicating changes without losing composure
Communication
- Conduct outbound communication with customers to confirm appointments, provide technician ETAs, follow up on pending jobs, and deliver updates throughout the service day(s)
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the office, field technicians, and customers — keeping all parties informed and aligned at every stage of the job
- Communicate clearly and calmly under pressure — even when the board is full and the phone is ringing
Project & Operations Management
- Own the end-to-end flow of every service job — through dispatch, technician check-in, job completion, and follow-up — with nothing falling through the cracks
- Identify bottlenecks in daily operations and escalate issues to management quickly with a proposed solution, not just a problem
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ServiceTitan — job notes, technician status, customer communication, and schedule changes logged in real time
- Generate and review daily operational reports; track key metrics including job counts, average response times, technician conversion rate, and sales/collections.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of experience in a dispatch, logistics coordination or project coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing accuracy or composure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel — comfortable building and reading operational logs, tracking schedules, and managing data across multiple tabs
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software is a strong plus — candidates with ServiceTitan knowledge will be prioritized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — you speak clearly, write concisely, and follow up without being asked
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
