Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Location: 1891 Merriam Dr, Kansas City, KS 66106 ( right off I-35 & Lamar)

We are looking for a reliable and organized Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, scheduling service appointments, supporting office operations, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming multi-line phone calls
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians efficiently
  • Follow up with customers regarding service questions and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and service charges in company software
  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members via phone, chat, and in person
  • Assist with general office administration and scheduling coordination
  • Take the initiative to identify issues and resolve customer concerns
  • Use strong organizational skills to track tasks, notes, and follow-ups
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (plumbing/ HVAC or trade/service industry preferred)
  • Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or administrative office work
  • Strong computer skills (email, scheduling software)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability and initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and follow-up habits (note-taking is essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Ability to pass a background check

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
