Dispatcher/ Track & Trace / Evening Shift

Job Overview
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient operations. You will be responsible for managing logistics, communicating with drivers, and optimizing delivery schedules.

Duties
- Utilize transportation management systems such as Truck Mate to plan, execute shipments, and track & trace.
- Coordinate with supply chain partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions and updates on routes and schedules
- Monitor shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely deliveries
- Utilize GIS tools for route optimization and tracking
- Assist in fleet management by scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed

Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.75 - $20.00 per hour
