Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Freight Broker / Dispatcher (Commission-Only) to manage daily freight operations, coordinate carriers, and maximize margin opportunities.

This is a commission-only position designed for success — with operational support, back-office assistance, and an established framework in place. No outbound sales or cold calling is required. The focus is on execution, load coverage, carrier management, and profitability.

This role is ideal for someone who understands trucking operations, load planning, and brokerage fundamentals and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch third-party carriers efficiently and profitably
• Source and cover freight through load boards and existing freight channels
• Negotiate carrier rates while protecting margin
• Track loads from pickup to delivery and proactively resolve service issues
• Communicate clearly with carriers and operations regarding schedules and requirements
• Ensure loads meet FMCSA, DOT, and customer compliance standards
• Maintain accurate records in TMS and tracking systems
• Support POD collection and billing documentation
• Build and maintain a reliable carrier network

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in freight brokerage or dispatch (preferred)
• Strong understanding of lanes, equipment types, and rate structures
• Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is a plus

Schedule

Flexible, performance-driven schedule based on freight volume and operational needs.
We operate as needed to support customer and carrier requirements rather than a strict Monday–Friday structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250.00 - $2,500.00 per week
