We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher / Field Coordinator to help manage daily service scheduling, support field technicians, and keep our operations running smoothly.

About the Role

The Dispatcher / Field Coordinator plays a key role in the daily success of our service operation. This person is responsible for managing the service board, assigning calls efficiently, supporting the Customer Service team, and helping ensure the right technician is sent to the right call at the right time.

This is a fast-paced, in-office role that requires strong communication, quick decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the daily service schedule to maximize technician availability and productivity
  • Assign service calls based on technician skill set, location, availability, and job needs
  • Monitor real-time schedule changes and adjust routes as needed
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the day regarding job updates, route changes, and scheduling needs
  • Partner closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure a smooth handoff from booking to dispatch
  • Support inbound call flow during high-volume periods
  • Identify and resolve scheduling gaps, delays, or inefficiencies
  • Help reduce cancellations, reschedules, and technician downtime
  • Maintain strong communication with office staff, field teams, and leadership
  • Assist with process improvements that support better customer service and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous dispatching, scheduling, call center, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in home services, garage doors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar field service industries is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with technicians, office staff, and leadership
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused under pressure
  • Experience with scheduling or dispatch software such as ServiceTitan, SouthWare, or similar platforms is a plus
