Dispatcher/Reservation Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transportation reservations, coordinating schedules, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Schedule

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and process transportation reservations via phone, email, online systems, or in person.
• Enter, modify, and cancel bookings using the company’s computerized reservation system.
• Monitor daily reservations and coordinate scheduling to maximize vehicle and driver efficiency.
• Track and monitor the status and availability of drivers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Communicate reservation details and schedule updates to drivers, dispatch, and other operational departments.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, passenger information, and special requests.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and assisting customers with transportation needs.
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts or service issues when they arise.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support promotions, group bookings, and special transportation requests.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in office software applications and reservation management systems.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently while managing multiple reservations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience required; experience in sales is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dispatchers, drivers, and management.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Tourism or hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
