We specialize in local and long distance BLS Emergency and Non-Emergency, Gurney, Wheelchair, Bariatric, and Ambulatory Services. We aim for the highest level of customer satisfaction. As a dispatcher you will coordinate various service requests from agencies and customers, maximize resource availability, dispatch field crews, facilitate information flow between field crews and dispatchers, billing and administrative staff, coordinate reimbursement programs with various payers and perform assigned clerical and billing functions. As a router you will be tasked with daily routing of call volumes in excess of 100 calls and assigning them to the various field units for the next day.

Dispatcher Requirements:

• candidates with prior ems dispatch experience preferred
• should be familiar with bay area geography
• ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• should have reliable transportation to and from work
• should be comfortable with CAD systems

Job Duties:

• Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
• Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
• Answer calls from drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels
• Daily routing of trip volume for the next days
