Dispensary Associate

Job Description

Wishing Wellness is seeking a Part-Time Dispensary Associate to join our team. This customer-facing role focuses on providing a welcoming, educational, and compliant experience for medical cannabis patients.

The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Educate patients on product options, effects, and usage
• Accurately process sales using our POS system
• Verify patient credentials and follow all DC cannabis regulations
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales floor
• Assist with inventory intake and product stocking
• Support opening and closing procedures as scheduled

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old
• Retail or customer service experience required
• Cannabis or wellness experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift light inventory
• Must pass required background checks

Schedule & Availability

• 15–25 hours per week
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Flexible scheduling based on store needs
