Ocean Park Optometry is seeking an exceptional Dispensing Optician to join our highly respected, technology driven private practice in Santa Monica, California.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced in high level customer service and premium patient experiences
• Strong optical sales skills with confidence presenting premium lens options and luxury eyewear
• Professional appearance, polished communication, and positive demeanor
• Team player who contributes to a supportive and high performance culture
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Passionate about fashion, optics, technology, and helping patients look and see their best
• Comfortable working with advanced technology and specialty services
• Ability to build trust and long term relationships with patients

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist patients with frame styling and lens recommendations tailored to their lifestyle and visual needs
• Present and educate patients on premium lens technology and specialty products
• Deliver concierge level service from start to finish
• Perform optical dispensing, adjustments, repairs, troubleshooting, and frame fittings
• Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care
• Support practice growth through professionalism, communication, and strong patient engagement

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Optical experience required
• ABO certification preferred but not required
• Experience with luxury eyewear and premium lens products strongly preferred
• Experience in private practice or medical/professional environment preferred

Compensation based on experience, skill level, and performance.
