Display Merchandiser (Furniture & Home Décor)

Job Summary
Furniture and Things is hiring a creative and detail-oriented Display Merchandiser to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys home décor, interior design, and retail merchandising.

In this position, you’ll design and maintain showroom displays that help customers visualize furniture in their homes. You’ll play a key role in creating an inviting, inspiring shopping environment that supports sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and arranging furniture displays and room vignettes to enhance the customer experience
• Style accessories including rugs, artwork, lighting, and décor
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom displays
• Rotate and refresh floor sets based on promotions and new inventory
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and product placement
• Collaborate with buyers, sales associates and management to support store goals
• Assist customers on the floor when needed with product questions
• Stay up to date on design trends and merchandising best practices
• Help receive and place new merchandise on the sales floor

Qualifications

• Experience in visual merchandising, retail, furniture sales, or interior design preferred
• Strong eye for design, color, and spatial layout
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move furniture with assistance from the campus support team
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
