Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As Specialist within the Dispute Resolution Service, you’ll support the growth and delivery of our services across the Gulf Cooperation Council and wider Middle East and Africa region. This is a varied role combining market insight, stakeholder engagement, operational coordination and regional representation.

You’ll work closely with the Head of International Development to strengthen RICS’ presence within the regional alternative dispute resolution landscape and help organisations access professional, standards-driven services.

You will:

  • Research the regional dispute resolution landscape, identifying trends, risks and growth opportunities

  • Analyse sectors including government, developers, corporates and institutions to identify key accounts

  • Build relationships with courts, government entities, law firms, consultancies, academic bodies and industry partners

  • Support outreach activity promoting services, training and professional standards

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and regional communications materials

  • Represent RICS at conferences, seminars and networking events across the region

  • Coordinate training courses, briefings and professional events, managing logistics and participant experience

  • Maintain stakeholder records, documentation and reporting systems

  • Support contracts, invoicing and operational administration for programmes


  • This role is based in Dubai and includes occasional travel across the GCC and wider MEA region.

    You enjoy working across cultures and markets, building professional relationships and helping services grow. You’re organised, confident communicating with stakeholders and comfortable balancing delivery with outward-facing engagement.

    You will bring:

  • Experience in a professional services, legal, dispute resolution, training or built-environment related organisation

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

  • Clear written, verbal and presentation communication skills

  • Arabic language skills would be preferred.

  • Confidence working independently and representing a professional organisation externally

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and events

  • Strong organisational and administrative capability

  • Experience coordinating training or professional events

  • Knowledge of mediation, arbitration or adjudication processes

  • Regional travel across the Middle East and Africa may be required

  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed for events
