The Role
Join a leading US international law firm as a Bilingual Disputes Paralegal in vibrant Dubai. In this role, you will provide essential legal support in dispute resolution matters, collaborating closely with cross-border teams to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and organization of legal documents related to dispute cases. - Support attorneys in conducting legal research and fact-finding activities. - Coordinate and manage communication between clients, courts, and other legal entities in both English and the second language. - Maintain detailed case files and ensure all documentation complies with firm and regulatory standards. - Schedule and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials. - Translate and review legal documents to facilitate multilingual case handling. - Work collaboratively with international teams to support cross-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration matters. - Monitor case deadlines and manage calendaring to ensure timely filings and responses.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and a Arabic relevant to the firm's international clientele. - Proven experience as a paralegal in dispute resolution or litigation within a law firm environment. - Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures in dispute cases. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams and clients. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international legal setting. - Prior experience working in or with US international law firms is an advantage.
