Distribution Center Associate Summer

Summer position availble!

• 20 to 40 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling

Essential Functions:

• Unloads trucks by hand and uses material handling equipment to receive incoming merchandise and deliver merchandise to the stores.
• Receives merchandise, verifying stock quantities, sizes, and numbers according to company procedures.
• Prices merchandise according to pricing copy or invoice, including printing price tags and labeling merchandise.
• Stores merchandise in rack locations and retains familiarity with locations for merchandise retrieval.
• Loads merchandise into crates for transfer.
• Loads truck by hand and uses handcart and material handling equipment.
• Develops receiving documents and enters receiving information into computerized inventory system.
• Performs all additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Organization and accuracy with attention to detailed information.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including a pallet jack, two-wheel cart, rolling book cart, and conveyor.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds intermittently.
• Computer/data entry experience.
